Ace
There are some forces that come into your life to change it forever. Gentle, kind, inquisitive, powerful, all pervasive. Ace was all that and more. She waltzed into my life on a December evening in 2007, eight weeks old. The next fifteen years, if there was one constant in my life, it had been Ace. Friend, companion, lover and guardian.
In the last year of her life, Ace had started to slow down. Cancer started to eat away at her, and at a senior age, she went through a surgery to remove a malignant mass, but bounced back just because she wanted to be with me. That’s all there is to life, no? Love like there is no tomorrow, live like today’s a gift and just turn your back on hate. She passed over the rainbow bridge in August 2022.
Back when we were setting up TWG in 2020, it was Ace's special protein rich, low carb, high fibre diet which was to become the bedrock of our first meals and handmade treats.

I am truly blessed to be able to work with so many of you dog parents at releasing this, TWG, Ace's Love Letter to the world.
We take the trust that you, our customers have placed in our hands, that to take care of the health and wellbeing of your children, centre and forward whenever we need to make any decisions, whether that is cooking, packaging, storing or delivering these foods. We have consciously taken a decision not to use retort packaging, because honestly, why would you want to feed your children food that is one year old? We have consciously decided to use clear packaging to ensure you can see what is being offered from outside. We have consciously chosen to list the ingredients on our pages, to ensure you know what is going into your dog's bowls. We have consciously chosen to send you frozen food, alongwith date of manufacture and expiry clearly laid out, so that you know that what you are holding in your hands is absolutely fresh.
